I Believe in Love

I believe in love for not just the neighbors near to us, but across all man-made borders.

I believe those with the hearts of Christ have joy in sharing all that has been given to us through him.

I believe in the peace we feel letting go of our controlling ideas to let the light of God come in just a little bit more.

I believe instead of retaliation when wronged we can choose the fruits of kindness and goodness which have been given so freely to us.

May we evermore believe in faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in our own lives and in how we serve others and God.

Against such things there is no law. Amen.
