As Christians, we are blessed with a rich tradition of making art for the glory of God. The act of artistic creation, of poetry, of paintings, of performance, celebrates our own creation and our own Creator in turn. The arts thrive at Trinity, and we lift up our artistic contributions as a valued component of our holistic, lifelong devotion to developing our ability to see God in the beauty of our world, our work, and our human family.

The African American Read-In

During African American History Month each year, Trinity hosts the African American Read-In, a celebration of the profound contributions made by authors of African descent to the literary canon.

Poetry Sunday

As April showers bring May flowers, they also bring Poetry Sunday, a yearly service that places poetry alongside scripture. Trinity’s own poets are read alongside Donne and Dickinson, and the marriage of the ephemeral and the traditional makes for a unique worship experience, one that is deeply treasured by our community.

The Trinity Book Group

Bookworms rejoice! Trinity reads deeply and broadly, across all genres, in both secular and religious idioms. The Trinity Book Group meets to discuss seven books each year and hopes you’ll consider joining them next time.

Art Exhibits at Trinity

We rejoice in the ability of art to reveal God through the experience of sublime beauty. Trinity’s interest in the fine arts has brought a number of themed exhibitions to the sanctuary of the Church over the years.

The Trinity Players

Dramatic renditions of Bible stories hold a key place in the history of the Western theatrical tradition. The Trinity Players present both historical plays and contemporary works in celebration of that tradition. Founded in 1975, the Players have presented dozens of sermon dramas and dinner theater productions and today remain an unmissable part of worship at Trinity.
