A Prayer by Lisa Levy

Dear God, who became incarnate to show us how to be vessels of your love: hear the cries of those who are living through a wilderness time, especially the homeless, the hungry, and those in despair. Send forth your word and heal them in body, mind, and spirit, that they might know how deeply you cherish them. Show us how to be good companions to those who suffer so that no one feels alone. All this we ask through your son Jesus, who to us is the face of love. Amen.
