As Jesus rides the donkey through the city streets, remind us that your love is steady. As the crowds cheer, remind us that in the pain of this world, there is always hope. As Jesus rides the donkey towards friends sleeping in the garden, remind us we are human and disappoint others and ourselves.

As Jesus moves closer to his crucifixion, remind us that though we disappoint others and ourselves, you steadily love us—and even in the pain of this world, you give us hope. Amen.
