O Lord our God, who made the universe and then rested on the seventh day, help us to stop and be content, to pause and observe with joy the beauty of your creation, and with a child’s wisdom to step out of time and be impervious to the world’s demands, through your Son our Savior Jesus Christ, who withdrew to the mountaintop and the desert, and admired the mustard seed and the vine. Amen.
