May 12 Spring Choir Concert announced!

"This year's Spring Concert, I Was Glad - Songs of Dedication will contain a great variety of choral music, both sacred and secular. From the opening with a sacred anthem used at every English coronation since that of Edward VII in 1902 to a much more recent secular song (made famous by the group Voces 8) about the good luck of finding love with a particular person, this concert explores a wide variety of emotion through music. Among other varied compositions included will be Benjamin Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb and Elaine Hagenberg’s When We Love, a paean to the power of love for one another as an example of the visible love of God.
