Join us for an evening of story sharing, centered around a presentation about the shared history of Trinity and St. Luke’s, given by the Rev. Rowena Kemp. We will reflect on the difficult history of how Black parishioners of Trinity were excluded from the common life of the church, and required to sit in pews in the back gallery. These parishioners ultimately left in 1844 to found their own church, St. Luke’s Whalley Avenue. There will be opportunities to reflect, discuss, and pray together, as well as to share individual stories about our culture - honoring our diversity as part of one human family.

This is a “virtual potluck” and people are encouraged to bring their dinner to the Zoom screen as we “break bread” with one another!

RSVP requested, not required - https://forms.gle/pnvJqd8KpZYxti3A6
