For the eighteenth year, Trinity will participate in the African American Read-In. We will be in a different “setting,” not the undercroft, because of the effect of the pandemic on our services.  Each of us will, of course, choose from where we will Zoom.  Since our time may not be as flexible, the readings will be restricted to poetry and non-fiction.  You are invited to read one or more poems (three minutes maximum) or an excerpt from a non-fiction text (four minutes maximum).  You may choose any African American writer from Phillis Wheatley to the present day.  Email me the title(s) and author of your reading, along with the approximate reading time, using the form below. no later than January 30, 2021.  See the lists of some suggested writers below.  Contact me if you have questions.
