In a two-part dinner series, members of St. Luke’s & Trinity will discuss Equal Justice Under Law, an autobiography by Constance Baker Motley. Motley was a New Havener and member of St. Luke’s before her significant legal career—including being the first Black woman to argue as a lawyer at the Supreme Court, and her service as a Judge for the United States District Court.
Limited copies of the book are available for free, with an optional donation of up to $10. All are welcome to attend these important conversations, even if you have only read the book in part!
The book club will meet on the following days:
Monday, Jan. 13, at 6:30 p.m. – St. Luke's Parish Hall
Friday, Jan. 31, 6:30 p.m. – Trinity Undercroft
