Please note the following important changes to our schedule this Sunday, January 30, in light of the coming winter storm and our Annual General Meeting:
Services as scheduled – We plan to offer our 8am and 10am services as scheduled, with livestream for the 10am service. We encourage people to discern for themselves whether they feel comfortable or safe attending church in person – virtual church is still church. We are also continuing with our Chapel on the Green service at 2pm; contact cotg@trinitynewhaven.org if you are able to provide volunteer support.
Annual General Meeting on Zoom – We are shifting our Annual General Meeting to Zoom, starting at 11:30am. For those who wish to join the 10am service in person, and are unable to get home by 11:30 for the meeting, we will offer hybrid access to Zoom in the undercroft (masks required). You can join the AGM by clicking hereor at the link below. Please attend the Annual General Meeting and vote using the link provided here and below, as it is important for us to come together on an annual basis to discuss the mission and operations of our church!
A note about travel and parking – Please be safe, and make the best decision for yourself about whether to attend church in person! Note that parking downtown on Sunday may be difficult, since a street parking ban may still be in effect at that time. Our sextons will do their best to clear limited space on the pavement in front of the church. The Crown Street Parking Lot is another option.
This weekend we are especially grateful for our Trinity community, and how we have become more versatile and resilient over the past two years – allowing us to make these changes! If the storm is even greater than expected and further changes to the service schedule are needed, we will send out a subsequent notice via email.
