Adult Education at Trinity: most Sunday’s at 10:10 in the undercroft

Life Together:  The Christian Community

Trinity is offering a Sunday morning Adult Education class on the theme Life Together: The Christian Community. The class will be led by Chris Ashley, a new member of our Parish, and Charles Lemert. Dr. Christopher Ashley holds graduate degrees in theology—a Masters of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School and a PhD in systematic theology from Union Theological Seminary. Lemert, as some may know , also holds graduate degrees in theology and social ethics.

The course is for all who may be interested and willing to read and discuss short selections from Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s book on the Christian Community, Life Together.

The classes with begin in 10:10 AM and end in time for the 11 AM Services and are scheduled for the library beside the undercroftThe time and place are to allow easy access for adults attending morning services (including parents of children in the Sunday school at 10 AM).

It is strongly recommended that you read the chapter before the lectures. There are many editions around, but this one has a biography of Bonhoeffer as a prefix. The book may be purchased from Amazon in a variety of formats.
